Ind VS Eng 2nd Test Day 1: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane score big as India finish 300/6 at stumps

Today was the Ro-hit day; he made magnificent 161 runs with 18 fours & 2 sixes on 231 balls, the strike rate was 69.70. Ajinkya Rahane also contributed with 67 runs. Rishab pant is batting on 33 not out.

India did a great job today as they won the toss and elected to bat first, India made 300 runs, loss of 6 wickets on the first day of the second test match at Chennai.

England got a good start as they got Gill’s wicket on a duck. After that India lost the Pujara on 21 runs and quickly Virat bowled on duck by Moin Ali and that was great bowl by him. 

England will have to play to win this test match as the pitch is favourable to spinners. Now, we have to see tomorrow how long India would bat and how many runs they will make? 

Joe Root is in tremendous form  & he has to play the captain knock for his team and play smart shots in front of Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. 

The Indian team selection was commendable by the management as including both spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. Of course, the pitch is also spin-friendly as mentioned before.

The spectators are also in the stadium, and they enjoyed the Rohit Sharma batting, but they looked disappointed by Virat Kohli as he couldn’t open his account. Now, spectators are hoping for the sizzling show by Rishab Pant.
