The First Day of Ind Vs Eng Test Match Goes to Joe Root

Today India vs England test match is going on. On the First the day of test match India England made 263 runs by lose of 3 wickets. Joe Root is batting on 128 on 197 bowls and just end of the first day, the Sibley got plumed LBW by Jaspreet Bumrah. India was fighting hard to get the break throw, but the pitch wasn’t helping the bowlers as it is slow. However It will start to help the spinners from the third day.

The match was started at 9.15 AM, and English Captain Joe Root won the toss & elected to bat first. Jasmit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma started the bowling then after that Ashwin came as the third bowler. Nadeem and Washington also contributing as spin bowlers as well.

The Nadeem’s selection is a surprise for everybody as everyone was thinking or talking about Kuldeep  Yadav. But still, he has to wait for his call. 

Joe started his test career by playing against India, he also played his 50th test in India, but today he is playing his 100test match against India again. 

The opening partnership was 63 runs. After that England lost their first wicket of R.Burns, he made 33 runs on 60 balls. Ashwin got his wicket as burns was hitting swipe, but unfortunately, the ball hit on his gloves, and wicketkeeper Rishab Pant took the catch.

R. Burns was playing so well. England lost their second wicket of D. Lawrence in immediate effect. Bumrah took his wicket as LBW. D. Lawerence didn’t open his account because he got out on a duck.

Joe root hit his maiden hundred against India on the First Day of the Test match. He brilliantly executed his innings, he superbly played the sweep shots, and his switched sweep shots are world-class. 
Moreover, this is his third consecutive hundred; last two hundred came against Sri Lanka. 

He came on the crease when England score was 63/2 but now 263/3. His innings is totally composed of calculated risks as currently, he is playing at 128 runs. He looks dominating on Nadeem and Washington. Hence Joe Root is playing the captain Knock.

Sibley just got out at 87 runs; he was 13 runs away from his century. Getting the wicket of Dom Sibley is a good breakthrough for India. Tomorrow Ben Strokes will join the crease with Joe Root. It would be quite interesting to see ben and Bumrah’s clash on the crease as both of them are the world’s best players.
